Fleas survive by eating the blood of their hosts. They are quite happy on pets, birds, and other mammals that live in and outside of your home. Fleas reproduce very quickly, a single flea can lay about 50 eggs per day. If left untreated, this can soon become overwhelming. Most store bought products will not work effectively because they can not adequately cover enough surface area. Prior to, and after flea treatment, we recommend that you launder washable items in the affected areas (pet bed, blankets, clothes, etc.). Eliminating fleas can take about two weeks in order to eliminate all stages of flea development. A follow up treatment is performed 7 days after the initial treatment.
